Malwa School was founded in 1986 as a primary school to provide quality education to the predominantly rural population of Giddarbaha. It was the dream project of the late Bibi Surinder Kaur Badal, who was passionate about spreading quality education in every nook and corner of the Malwa belt.
The school began its first year with less than 50 students. Today it is a senior secondary school permanently affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, with a pre-primary school within the campus, and is the only ICSE examination centre in the area.
A rising sun in the school crest symbolises the aspirations and hopes of our students. The school motto is ‘Morally Right, Mentally Alert, Physically Strong.’
